Can You Delay Zakat?
Delaying Zakat without a valid reason is not permitted. It must be paid promptly once due.
Once your Zakat is due (at the end of your hawl), you must pay it as soon as possible. Delaying without excuse is sinful.
Why Prompt Payment Matters
It is a debt to Allah.
Zakat is not optional and should not be delayed. Those in need are depending on it, and delaying means withholding support from them.
